Indigenous Perspectives

During this in-person, lunch and learn style gathering at Fanshawe’s Indigenous Spirit Circle, (learn more HERE), Indigenous Training Advisor, Candace Dube will share a hands-on and educational learning experience. Education falls under the Calls to Action 6 to 12 as part of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (learn more HERE). As a part of this call to action, you will have the opportunity to learn about the 4 sacred medicines, taste Cedar tea and discover the many ways it can be used. A specific focus on Tobacco as one of the 4 medicines will be offered. Participants are encouraged to bring their curiosity and questions to this shame-free, blame-free, shared learning space.
