This core course, delivered in partnership with the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion, is designed to provide an overview of the concepts of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and discuss why these should be prioritized in Canadian workplaces. It will also delve into the topic of unconscious bias and its different manifestations including sources and types of bias. Participants will have the opportunity to explore what it means to be a diversity champion during the session through facilitated case studies, peer-to-peer learning, and other engaging capacity-building activities.
